About Me

What does Off Duty mean?

Off Duty refers to your out of office look and how you are most comfortable.

I believe that your off duty look translates into your perfect bridal look for your big day.

It‘s about finding styles that work with your hair‘s own texture and makeup that enhances your best features.

My brides all have one thing in common- the desire to look like the best version of themselves on their wedding day.

I am a freelance hair stylist and makeup artist specialising in Weddings and covering Kent, London and the South East as well as international weddings.

How it all started...

I have been passionate about hair and makeup from an early age and completed a foundation degree in Health and Beauty at the London College of Fashion In 2006.

After having my second beautiful daughter in 2017 I decided to go freelance and specialise in weddings.

I knew I wanted to step away from the traditional bridal styles so I refreshed my skills on a course with Jo Irving and I’m a proud member of the Love Hair Tribe.

My ideal bride is one that knows herself and her own style but is also not afraid to beak the rules!

Trial Appointments- Frequently Asked Questions

When should I have my trial?

It is usually recommended to arrange a trial 4-6 weeks before the wedding date.

However, wedding planning and other commitments may mean you will want to arrange it sooner.

You may even choose to arrange it to coincide with a dress fitting, your hen night or engagement photoshoot.

Where does the trial take place?

The wedding hair and makeup trial can take place in the comfort of your own home.

During peak season, trial appointments are also available weekday evenings. These appointments take place at my home in Sidcup.

How can I get the most out of my trial?

Once you have booked your trial you will be sent a list of tips on how to prepare for your trial. This will cover basics from what to wear and where to find inspiration for your desired look.

Will there be any travel costs?

Travel costs are covered within a 10 mile radius. Outside of this mileage is charged at a rate of 40p per mile.

Toll charges and parking charges must also be covered by the client.
